Job Description

As an Associate Electrical Engineer – Electrical Infrastructure, you’ll work within the Building Services Division on a diverse range of exciting projects. Your focus will be on providing expertise in electrical infrastructure, covering areas such as:

  • Private customer networks.
  • Decarbonisation of heat.
  • Electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
  • Battery storage and renewable energy systems.

 

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across geographies and guide clients on preparing their power networks for future decarbonisation goals. This role offers a great mix of technical, leadership, and client-facing responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical expertise in electrical infrastructure for various projects.
  • Support clients in designing future-ready power systems for decarbonisation.
  • Lead and contribute to projects involving renewables, battery storage, and EV infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with project managers across different teams and geographies.
  • Represent the company professionally, ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction.

Job Requirements :

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in electrical infrastructure projects, ideally within building services or consultancy environments.
  • Expertise in areas like decarbonisation, renewable energy, and power systems design.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, including experience working across disciplines.
  • A forward-thinking approach with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
  • Chartered status or progress toward it is highly desirable.
