Job Description

In this role, you will lead and manage infrastructure projects across diverse sectors, including residential, retail, and industrial. Responsibilities include designing drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards, liaising with statutory bodies, mentoring junior staff, attending design and site meetings, and ensuring technical consistency. You will work closely with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality results within budget and on schedule.

Job Responsibilities :

► Project Management: Lead the Civils Team on projects ranging from single buildings to large-scale developments in diverse sectors.
► Infrastructure Design: Design drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards for various sectors, including residential, retail, and industrial.
► Statutory Liaison: Work with Water Companies, the Environment Agency, and County Roads Departments.
► Technical Proficiency: Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D to produce high-quality outputs.
► Team Leadership: Ensure technical consistency, mentor junior staff, and maintain project standards.
► Client & Site Liaison: Attend design and site meetings, inspect sites, and professionally communicate with clients and contractors.
► Budget & Time Management: Deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

Job Requirements :

► Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (Chartered status is an advantage).
► Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civils 3D).
► Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
