We’re seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our Client’s base in Rochdale. This role involves the inspection, servicing, and repair of industrial valves, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
► Valve Maintenance & Repairs: Maintain, repair, and test industrial valves, including gate, ball, butterfly, safety relief and control valves.
► Disassembly & Inspection: Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble valves at our Client’s facility and occasionally on-site.
► Technical Understanding: Interpret schematics and follow repair manuals to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
► Equipment Use: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for valve servicing and testing.
► Documentation: Complete detailed repair reports, maintaining accurate records.
► Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues and supervisors to meet client deadlines and expectations.
► Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with safety and performance protocols.
► Logistics Support: Handle valve transportation to and from customer sites as needed.
► Comprehensive understanding of valve types, components, and repair methods.
► Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
► Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
► Willingness to participate in training and development programs.
► Years of relevant experience in the industry.
